Another Friday, another Pie & Vinyl Presents! Again, this event is brought to you by the delightful Pie & Vinyl team as well as local new music blog Can’t Hear My Eyes and the stunning fella behind Outright Management. This team we’ve got a double whammy in the form of FICTION and CRUSHED BEAKS, who’ll be playing live for you at The Registry in Southsea.

Hot on the heels of their debut album ‘The Big Other’ on the prestigious Moshi Moshi label, Fiction’s live show is simply thriving from the energy of all the positive reviews the record has received. Creating the sort of modern day pop you’d expect from the likes of Blood Orange and Solange, Fiction are guaranteed to have you dancing along to their infectious, stadium-ready anthems.

Fiction – ‘Museum’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySBYXerX8jc

London based noise pop two-piece who have been making waves on the blogosphere since the middle of last year. They formed over a love of old school and cult horror films, a theme which seeps through in most of their lyrics. Musically, they’ve got a brilliant & whimsical garage rock vibe reminiscent of The Strange Boys and The Babies.

THIS IS A FREE SHOW SO COME ON DOWN! There will be resident Pie & Vinyl DJs until 2am too, so make sure you stick around for a drink and a dance after the show.

The Mighty DRENGE (disclaimer – will be a very big band, silly willy to miss this) join us for the next P&V presents on the 12th April…more details to follow…
