Dials, a brand new collaborative festival, taking place in 5 venues in Southsea, Portsmouth on the 3 rd October 2015 has announced its first wave of confirmed acts. Heading up the bill will be Liverpool’s fantastic Hooton Tennis Club who will be bringing a heavy dose of idiosyncratic slacker indie rock to the south coast. Hot on their heels will be the mesmerising Black Honey from Brighton, their shrieking guitar driven pop having already captured the likes of the online world leading to them being one of the most written about acts by UK music bloggers in 2014.

Other musical treats on the bill include goth ‘n’ soul singer Chloe Black, London rockers Broken Hands, Nottingham grunge trio Kagoule and All Tvvins, one of the best new bands out of Ireland.

Dials Festival is a co-operative of venue owners, promoters and other music professionals and enthusiasts from the Portsmouth area, who are passionate about bringing the best music to the area, helping support local musicians, venues, businesses and community in the process.”
Besides national touring acts the festival will also include a selection of artists local to the south coast area, including aggressive blitz-pop trio Curxes, lo-fi indie rockers The Boy I Used To Be, acoustic pop singer Jerry Williams, new wave rap group Mok and guitar noisesmiths Rickyfitts.

The full line up so far, with more acts to be announced soon is:

Hooton Tennis Club / Black Honey / Chloe Black / All Tvvins / Broken Hands / Alice Jemima / Kagoule / Storms / Walleater / Bones / Dog In The Snow / Lyza Jane / Wyldest / Jerry Williams / Dead Rabbits / Glass / Strange Cages / Last Heir / Peluche / Rickyfitts / Morning Smoke / The Boy I Used To Be / Kelly Kemp / El Morgan / Mok / Brandon Lebbie / Rumour Talks / Bellyeyesmile / Battery Hens / Popowaba / You’re Smiling Now But We’ll All Turn Into Demons / Jimmy Stuart / Bright Smoke
