Back again! – quite literally catering for your visual and auditory needs…

For our third Pie&Film showing we bring you a documentary on the making of one of thee greatest albums released in to the truly special American alternative scene of the early 90’s – SLINT: THE BREADCRUMB TRAIL a 90-minute documentary about their classic 1991 album Spiderland. It’s directed by Lance Bangs and  includes interviews with the band, plus James Murphy, Steve Albini, David Yow, Ian MacKaye, Matt Sweeney, and others.

We are showing the film for free, but to book your seat you just need to order a Pie and mash meal for £6.95. We will also be selling very special desserts, drinks and Sweetie Pie Gluten-Free Vegan Bakery of Southsea providing luxury, spider themed, original popcorn!

We will also be selling Slint’s new remastered LP ‘Spiderland’ which also comes with a copy of the DVD.

To book your reservations select your pie choice from the MENU on the website. With your choice handy, email radd@pieandvinyl.co.uk or call the store on 02392 753914 with your selection.

We ask you to come to the store at 6:30pm to collect and pay for your food, choose any extra’s and then be shown to your seat. We will show the film at approx 7:00pm when everyone is seated.
