What a lovely road that Castle Road is…at one end Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle writing stories about obsessive detectives, and the one and only Peter Sellers born at the other end (being funny, and acting like a detective).
In between, we have lot’s of lovely shops and things are starting to take shape down our lovely sea view road with lots of inspirational traders who offer a unique experience…we like to think we have a ‘Lanes’ in Brighton kind of feel, and we want to show this off, and in the summer time!
This two day summer festival to celebrate the magnificent Castle Road runs from 11am – 4pm Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August 2014.
Filling the closed road, incredible stalls will be selling the best local arts, clothes, drinks, food, antiques and curios galore! Plus, as always we have a great day of live entertainment from some of the best local acts around…Come feast your eyes…
Pie&Vinyl will be serving pies to take away, with mash, peas, gravy or Liquor – so you can walk around and consume whilst visiting the many traders and enjoying the live music. Or you can come and relax in our outside seating area. We’ll keep it visually interesting for you as always…Drinks, hot or cold will be available and we’ll be spinning some actual vinyl for your listening pleasure…
Both days are entirely free to attend and enjoy:)
We are delighted to announce the musical entertainment and timings below…we’ll see you there then!
